State Rep. Steve Arndt’s Campaign Earns Broad Support of Leading Labor Groups

PORT CLINTON—State Representative Steve Arndt (R-Port Clinton) continues to earn the support and endorsements from a wide range of advocacy groups, including several labor organizations.

Among the labor groups to issue official endorsements of Rep. Arndt’s campaign are:

  • The United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 880
  • The Painters & Allied Trades District 6 Council
  • The Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union No. 33

“I am honored to have received the support of so many well respected organizations that do such great work on behalf of workers across the state of Ohio,” Arndt said. “As has been my focus throughout my time in office, I look forward to continue partnering with these organizations and champion policies that help strengthen Ohio’s workforce, grow wages and create jobs for our region.

Arndt is serving his second term in the Ohio House in the 89th District, which includes Erie and Ottawa counties. A small business owner for more than 30 years, Arndt also previously served as an Ottawa County commissioner for 27 years and has been involved with the Port Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
