COLUMBUS—State Representative Steve Arndt (R-Port Clinton) has been endorsed by Ohio’s leading business organizations, such as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
Arndt said, “It’s an honor to be supported by three of Ohio’s leading business groups in my reelection campaign. I am committed to the growth and success of small business in my district, as well as in the State of Ohio.”
As a state representative, Arndt has supported several pieces of legislation that have helped grow Ohio’s economy and support small business owners. This includes voting to reduce income tax rates for families and businesses, as well as to lower fees for entrepreneurs looking to create new businesses in the state.
Arndt has championed the policies that has helped Ohioans create more than 520,000 new private-sector jobs since 2011. Ohio reached a record high for new business filings in 2017, the eighth consecutive year to set a new record.
Arndt is serving his second term in the Ohio House in the 89th District, which includes Erie and Ottawa counties. A small business owner for more than 30 years, Arndt also previously served as an Ottawa County commissioner for 27 years and has been involved with the Port Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
